Betcris is the new official sponsor of the CSD Municipal de Guatemala

Bookmaker Betcris has announced a new sponsorship deal in Central America, this time with Club Social y Deportivo Municipal of Guatemala.

The partnership is “a winning bet”, according to the municipal president of CSD, Gerardo Villa, and represents the expansion of Betcris in the region, where it already sponsors the Honduran championship.

“By having the support and sponsorship of Betcris, Club Municipal reinforces its sporting potential for its continued pursuit of triumphs and titles both nationally and internationally,” added Villa of the three-year agreement.

The Guatemalan team joins a number of top-tier partners that are sponsored by Betcris, including the NFL, MLB, the Mexican national football team and, in Ecuador, both the Ecuadorian national team and the country’s top division.

José Edwin Villarreal, Global Marketing Director at Betcris, highlighted the Municipal’s “historical tradition” and assured that he felt “identified” with the spirit of the institution, which “always competes to maintain a leadership position”.

“We believe that supporting the sport in all the markets where we are present is fundamental for the development of the community”, added .

Betcris continues to strengthen its presence and increase its exposure throughout Latin America with key agreements in several countries. It recently announced the sponsorship of Ceará and Fortaleza in the top division of Brazil, where it is ready to be well positioned once the market is regulated.
