Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise (NNGE) and Hard Rock Digital have joined forces in a partnership that will result in the launch of the latter’s mobile sports betting app in Arizona. The company recently arrived in New Jersey and Iowa via the Hard Rock Sports & Casino NJ and Hard Rock Sportsbook Iowa apps, respectively.
“We are thrilled to partner with NNGE to provide Arizona sports bettors with a fun and engaging game day experience through our mobile app,” said Marlon Goldstein, Group Executive Director and CEO.
Goldstein continued, “Our brand is known worldwide for legendary hospitality and entertainment, and we are excited to bring these experiences to Arizonans digitally with unparalleled mobile sports betting.”
NNGE, as a Navajo Nation company, operates five gaming and hospitality facilities in Arizona and New Mexico. The first property, Fire Rock Navajo Casino opened in November 2008 in New Mexico, and was followed by Flowing Water Navajo Casino (October 2010); Northern Edge Navajo Casino (January 2012); Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort (May 2013); and Navajo Blue Travel Plaza (September 2020).
Hard Rock deal aligns with NNGE’s strategic plan
“Mobile sports and event betting is a major new offering that we are excited to introduce,” noted Brian Parrish, interim CEO of NNGE.
Parrish added: “The Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile sports betting platform and our physical operations will offer a wide range of betting, marketing promotions and cross-marketing offerings that will be unique to the Navajo and Hard Rock brands.”
