The bookmaker 1xBet has been announced as the new sponsor of one of the main e-sports teams in the country, MIBR. Monster Energy was also confirmed as one of MIBR’s partner brands, as the group wants to get closer to the eSports universe.
According to the MKT Esportivo website, the bookmaker also has an agreement with ESL championships around the world. The new sponsorship agreement will support the men’s and women’s Counter-Strike GO teams for the next three years, supporting the launch of the “Be a Legend” campaign.
“We are delighted to be supporting one of the world’s leading eSports teams and are excited to be a part of their journey. We look forward to seeing what the next three years will bring for the team and their fan base,” said Alex Somers, 1xBet representative.
Roberta Coelho, CEO of MIBR, explained that this partnership will help improve all the organization’s processes. “The investments should intensify the pursuit of high performance by all our teams throughout 2022”.
Coelho also stressed that this new season will offer new possibilities involving the Gaming House in the USA. “We believe that the next year will be productive and with a milder scenario in relation to the pandemic. We will bet on many bootcamps, tournaments, experiences, a possible return to our Gaming House in the United States, and who knows, titles”, he added.
1xBet is a sports betting and online gaming company with a Curaçao eGaming License. In 2019, the bookmaker adopted a growth strategy based on sponsorship agreements with relevant football clubs.
