Fubo Gaming and Cleveland Cavaliers Announce Long Term Partnership

Fubo Gaming and the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers have announced a long-term partnership. Ohio basketball fans will increasingly see the brand as the subsidiary of the streaming service fuboTV will be promoted through an integrated marketing campaign across the Cavaliers’ various channels.

This will include their television and radio programming, as well as the team’s digital and social media platforms. “We couldn’t be more excited about aligning our Cavaliers brand with Fubo Gaming, a company that shares a mutual passion for innovation,” said Shelly Cayette, senior vice president of global partnerships at Cleveland Cavaliers.

Cayette added, “And as we like to say, she’s ‘obsessed with finding a better way’ in such a new and fast way for the sports game category. We are proud to join Fubo Gaming and help strengthen their brand presence in the Cleveland area, throughout Ohio and with our fan base for many years.”

Fubo Gaming brand will be in the Cavaliers arena in the new season

Starting in the 2021-22 NBA season, the brand will be present at the Cavaliers’ home at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse arena. Fubo Gaming will also be the hosting partner of ‘Cavs Pick ‘Em’, the free-to-play live gaming platform that debuted last season on GameDay+.

Scott Butera, the president of Fubo Gaming, commented: “We are thrilled to have our first NBA partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers, an innovative sports franchise known for having one of the most passionate fan bases in the league.”

Butera continued: “This partnership is a natural extension of our overall goal to provide sports fans with dynamic and engaging experiences with the teams and sports they love.”

Fubo Gaming was launched in 2021 and expects to launch its sports betting service, Fubo Sportsbook, in the fourth quarter of this year.
