SPORTEL Monaco will be 2021’s first 100% live and face-to-face international convention to reconnect and bring together the international sports media and technology industry, taking place October 5-7. It’s time to rebuild and reconfigure the industry for the future.
Alongside new industry characters, SPORTEL will welcome many long-time exhibitors and visitors such as LaLiga, Matchroom, Eurosport, Feedconstruct, Eurovision and ITF. Other regular exhibitors, including Cleeng and Phenix, have chosen to make SPORTEL their priority event on the calendar.
This year’s market promises to be ‘more European’. However, some of the world’s leading brands in the Americas are confirmed to participate in person, including Endeavor, DirectTV Latin America, ESPN, Fox Sports, Major League Baseball.
Another advantage for this year’s event is the participation of more than 50 new companies, who have never participated in a SPORTEL before, such as Sportall, Sportaway, Toch AI, Quidich Innovation, Triton Poker Series, Freeway & Dreamwall, iGaming Brazil and many others.
For several years, the trend towards the development and adoption of new technologies has been underway. New video solutions, content monetization optimization as well as eSports are all well represented sectors across the market.
Indeed, eSports has been ‘catapulted’ to the forefront during the time without face-to-face sports. This industry is growing at a very fast pace and is a very promising and expanding sector for the SPORTEL community. For this reason, the event will feature dedicated seminars with players from the traditional sports and eSports industry to explore synergies and opportunities.
Another series of immersive and diverse masterclass conferences and sessions will provide unique content to complement business meetings.
All sessions will be held in the new open space area, and found at the link: www.sportelmonaco.com/programme
The SPORTEL Awards will also be held at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco from 3rd to 5th October.
This event will once again be the opportunity for sports fans to experience unique moments: public events with elite sporting champions and, above all, on Tuesday, October 5th, the SPORTEL Awards Ceremony will reward the most outstanding sports footage of the year.
The program is being revealed gradually. After the success of the first edition, the SPORTEL Awards will host the final of the 2021 League of Legends (LFL) French Championship, on October 4th, at the Grimaldi Forum.
Additionally, Kevin Rolland, former Freestyle Skier aka “The Flying French Man”, will present his highly anticipated new documentary called “Resilience” during a screening and question and answer session on Monday, October 4th, at the Forum Grimaldi.
Without altering their DNA, the two SPORTEL events have naturally adapted to the pandemic, especially with extensive sanitary measures in place.
Thanks to the actions taken by the Monegasque Government and the hosting location, the entire SPORTEL team is working every day with the aim of carrying out the organization of both events in complete safety.
