Sports betting company EstrelaBet is the new sponsor of Villa Nova Atlético Clube, from Minas Gerais. The bookmaker‘s brand has already been inserted into the front of the football team’s shirt.
“It is with immense pride that we announce that Villa Nova Atlético Clube will now print another star on its white mantle. We are officially partners of Leão do Bonfim”, stated in the statement from EstrelaBet on social networks, which added “Pentacampeão Minas Gerais and the first team from the interior of the state to win a national football division”.
Villa Nova has one of the main fans in the interior of Minas Gerais. The team’s list of sporting achievements includes a Brazilian Series B title, five State Championship conquests, four Minas Gerais Interior Championships and two Minas Gerais Cups. The Brasileirão Serie B title took place in 1971, the first achievement of a national division by a team from the interior of the state.
