BetMGM announced partnerships with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and Arizona Cardinals to launch online and retail sports betting in Arizona.
This partnership establishes its first relationship with the State of Arizona, which allows the company to proceed with plans to launch its retail and online platform, once sports betting launches are legalized.
BetMGM plans to open sportsbook on the three Gila River properties, adjacent to the Arizona Cardinals home, State Farm Stadium.

Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte and Vee Quiva are three of the Arizona sites belonging to the Gila River Indigenous Community, and are operated by Gila River Hotels & Casinos. All three will feature bespoke BetMGM sports venues planned to open closer to the football season, reflecting their sport-centric brand.

BetMGM plans to launch the sports at State Farm Stadium during the 2022 NFL season. The operator continues to expand its sports betting platforms to new scales and new states.
