Setka Cup, which belongs to the BETER group, has secured an agreement with the Table Tennis Association of Prague, Czech Republic. The partnership indicates that Setka Cup tournaments will be officially recognized in the European Union.
“For the Setka Cup, a partnership with the Prague Table Tennis Association means official recognition at the international level and an opportunity to join supporters of the development of table tennis in the European Union”, commented Gal Ehrlich, CEO of BETER .
Ehrlich added: “It’s the right direction that will bring us together with sporting communities and professional associations in other countries and help us organize more sporting events and involve top athletes.”
Therefore, the Prague Table Tennis Association will work together with the Setka Cup to organize events of the sport. This cooperation aims to “attract more athletes, including world championship winners and Olympic Games participants, and expand the number of sporting events under the Setka Cup brand in Europe”.
Jindrich Pansky, silver medal at the world championships, and other world-renowned players such as Marek Cihak, Jaromir Zlamal, Krystof Prida and David Prusa have already participated in tournaments promoted by the brand of the BETER group.
Milos Vojacek, President of the Prague Table Tennis Association, also spoke about the new arrangement: “We are honored to partner with the Setka Cup and we believe our cooperation will benefit both parties.”
Vojacek continued: “This significant agreement will allow us to drive the development and promotion of table tennis in Prague and the Czech Republic.”
Setka Cup promotes table tennis, tennis and beach volleyball competitions
The international table tennis, tennis and beach volleyball competitions organized by Setka result in more than 7,500 events per month in 13 arenas in four cities. In addition, live analytics and detailed participant data are available for each match at bookmakers in 150 countries.
