Betomotion announces an agreement with one of the main names in the UFC today. It is about Mackenzie Dern, considered one of the best fighters in jiu-jitsu and who starts to act as brand ambassador.
The American with Brazilian nationality and the company reached a 12-month partnership agreement.
According to the contract, Betmotion will be able to explore the image of the sportswoman on her platform, in promotional actions, such as in product sweepstakes with autographs of the fighter and the exposure of Mackenzie’s image on social networks.
Mackenzie Dern’s trajectory
Born in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States, Mackenzie Dern is the daughter of Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter Wellington “Megaton” Dias. During her childhood, she had a lot of contact with Brazilian culture and visited her father’s homeland several times.
She started practicing jiu-jitsu at the age of 3 with her father and stepmother, Luciana Tavares. Nowadays, Mackenzie has a cartel of ten triumphs and only one defeat in the UFC, being in 11th place in the ranking of the strawweight category up to 52 kilos.
In February 2019, she needed to take a break from her career as a fighter due to a pregnancy. Their daughter, Moa, was born in June of the same year. The last victory in the octagon occurred in December, at UFC 256, held in Las Vegas, when she overcame the Brazilian Virna Jandiroba by unanimous decision (triple 29-28).
