BetMGM was announced as the first gambling partner for the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers. According to NBC Notícias, the agreement has activations focused on fans, such as presentation of sponsorships in concerts before the games, online marketing actions, promotions and branded signs scattered around the stadium.
Ryan Huzjak, vice president of sales and marketing for Pittsburgh Steelers, said: “We are excited to introduce BetMGM to Steelers Nation. BetMGM will not only elevate some of our existing platforms, but will also introduce new opportunities for Steelers fans. We are looking forward to starting this partnership ”.
As a gaming partner, the company will have the freedom to use the NFL team’s brands on its social channels, official property and products.
BetMGM will also become a sports betting partner for the Pittsburgh franchise when its service launches in the state. The forecast is to occur by the end of the year.
In addition to being the sponsor of the show before the game, which was renamed ‘Steelers Kickoff Presented by BetMGM’, the deal covers the “Decade of Black and Gold” draw, when a fan wins tickets for the entire season and entries for sectors VIP for 10 years.
Matt Prevost, the BetMGM representative, also commented on the partnership with the football team. “Steelers Nation is one of the most passionate fan bases in professional sports and we are excited to bring the excitement of BetMGM to Steelers fans.”
Prevost also stressed that “we are looking forward to launching the BetMGM game offering in Pennsylvania and I cannot think of a better way to mark our entry into the state than through this monumental partnership”.
BetMGM plans to launch online casino and betting in Pennsylvania by 2020
The company recently obtained a license to work with online casino games and sports betting services in the state of Pennsylvania.
As such, the group is announcing that it will begin operating the online casino in the region soon, depending solely on approval. In addition, the company’s local operation should be expanded to receive sports bets in 2020.
