Vbet Expands Sponsorship Portfolio and Closes with French Club Monaco

Betconstruct-owned online casino and sports betting operator Vbet has entered into a partnership with the French football club, AS Monaco.

The deal will cover the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, with Vbet serving as the team’s official betting partner. The company will still have its brand displayed on the shorts of Monaco players.

“We are proud of this long-term partnership agreement with AS Monaco, which undoubtedly represents an important milestone in Vbet’s history,” commented Vbet’s founder and chief executive, Vigen Badalyan.

The chief executive of the French football team, Oleg Petrov, added: “We are very happy to establish this partnership with Vbet, a very dynamic and essential player in its sector”.

Petrov added: “Monaco and VBET are now linked by a common interest and passion, football, but also, and above all, by the same spirit of adventure, innovation and a strong desire to establish themselves in very competitive markets”.

The partnership comes after Vbet, last week, also made the deal official to become the new sponsor of the Armenian Premier League.

About Vbet

The company was founded in 2003 under the name of Vivaro by the Badalyan brothers, Armenian businessmen who started out as a land-based bookmaker. The name of the company had the initials of the two founding brothers (Vigen and Vahe), as well as that of the father (Romano).

In 2006, Vivaro launched its first online betting site, a novelty in Armenia. Since online services at the time were rare in the country and were still being presented to the general public.

In 2009, Vivaro had more than 300 gaming houses across the country. Over the years, the company continued its expansion and started to diversify its offerings.

In 2014, the company launched itself in the international market with a new name and identity, becoming known as VBET.
