BetMGM and its parent company, MGM Resorts International, have made significant appointments to bolster their teams. Casey Hurbis has been hired as BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer, while Ari Kastrati has been promoted at MGM Resorts to the role of Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer.

Appointments and experience

Reporting to Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer, Casey Hurbis brings a wealth of 30 years of experience in consumer marketing. His background includes consumer engagement, digital advertising, partnership development and experiential marketing.

Prior to joining BetMGM, Hurbis held the position of Marketing Director at Rocket Mortgage. During this period, he led successful Super Bowl campaigns in collaboration with creative agency Highdive.

Hurbis commented: “Sports betting is one of the most competitive and rapidly evolving industries in the marketing world, and I am honored to join BetMGM at such an exciting time in its growth.” He envisions expanding the brand’s creativity and innovation, improving the experience for players.

Promotion at MGM Resorts

Ari Kastrati, promoted by MGM Resorts, now reports to Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of the company. In the new role, Kastrati will lead global design and development, as well as sports and entertainment partnerships.

His experience includes developing hospitality, food and beverage concepts, and he will also serve on the Executive Committee of MGM Resorts.
