Capitalization bond company Viva Sorte is Vasco da Gama‘s new sponsor. The sponsorship debuted on the Rio team’s uniform during the match against Athletico-PR, played last Wednesday (11).
Vasco was defeated 2-1 in normal time, but the team secured a 5-4 victory on penalties. Thus, they secured a place in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil.
According to the contract, the Viva Sorte brand will be printed on the right side of the chest of Vasco’s shirt. The brand will also appear on the left side of the front hem of the shorts.
The partnership will be valid until 2026. In addition to Viva Sorte, Vasco has five more brands on its uniform: Betfair (master sponsorship), Banco BMG (upper back), Intermac Assistance (back hem of the shorts), R10 Score ( next to the number) and Kappa, a supplier of sporting goods.
Growth of Viva Sorte in football
The agreement with Vasco is the fourth signed by Viva Sorte in Brazilian football in just one month. In August, the company signed a contract with São Paulo, stamping its brand on the collarbone region of the club’s shirt. Soon after, Viva Sorte signed with Santos, occupying the left side of the front hem of the team’s shorts.
In the case of Peixe, the contract includes naming rights for Vila Belmiro, although there are outstanding issues regarding the renovation of the stadium, which could change the initial agreement. During a meeting of the Santos Deliberative Council, held on August 12, president Marcelo Teixeira announced that the contract with Viva Sorte will last ten years.
However, the company is only present on the players’ shorts, while the Blaze platform remains the main space on the shirt, with a contract in force until April 2025.
In addition to these partnerships, the company also agreed with Sport, stamping its brand on the sleeves of the Pernambuco club’s shirt
