Santos Futebol Clube is about to announce a significant change in its history. The club negotiated a naming rights and sponsorship agreement with Viva Sorte.
The official announcement should take place in the next few days, possibly before the clash against Avaí. The match is scheduled for Saturday (17), at 4 pm, in Vila Belmiro itself, for the 21st round of Series B of the Brazilian Championship.
In this game, Santos, the competition’s isolated leader, aims to maintain its good form, boosted by the recent victory over Paysandu.
The agreement with Viva Sorte is not just limited to naming rights. The company will also have its brand displayed on the shorts of Peixe players, increasing its visibility among fans.
Viva Sorte and the name for Santos stadium
The agreement with Viva Sorte covers the naming rights of the current Vila Belmiro stadium, which already has negotiations underway for a possible replacement with a new arena, in partnership with WTorre.
If this construction takes place, new negotiations will be necessary to define the naming rights for the new stadium, possibly involving other companies.
In short, both Santos’ marketing department and Viva Sorte are in discussions about how to combine the company’s name with that of Vila Belmiro.
However, the objective is to maintain the prestige of the stadium, which is known worldwide for having been the stage for football legends such as Pelé, Pepe and Neymar.
In the second division of the Brasileirão, Santos maintains a good campaign for its return to the elite of the competition. See the numbers below:

Viva Sorte partnership with São Paulo
São Paulo also announced a Viva Sorte sponsorship agreement last Friday (9). The company’s contract with Tricolor is valid until the end of 2026. Therefore, it includes fundraising ideas intended exclusively for the football department.
In this way, the brand will now be displayed on the sleeve of the São Paulo club’s uniform, as already happened in a specific agreement between them, in the confrontation against Flamengo in the last round of the Brasileirão.
