In celebration of its 11th anniversary, Adsterra, a global advertising network, launched a special promotion for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
According to Tarcio Santos, marketing manager, the “Adsterra Olympic Challenge” began on July 22nd and runs until August 31st, offering opportunities for both advertisers and publishers to increase their earnings and compete for prizes.
The promotion celebrates the company’s trajectory with 22 awards — 11 for publishers and 11 for advertisers. Among the prizes are an iPhone 15 Pro Max and an AirPods Max.
“This year was special because the company’s anniversary coincided with the start of the Olympic Games, so we decided to create the Adsterra Olympic Challenge”, explained Santos.
Adsterra’s entry into the Brazilian market
According to Santos, Adsterra is based in Cyprus, but has always targeted the Brazilian market. “Adsterra is an advanced global ad network. We have a unique approach to caring for our partners. Our office is in Cyprus, but we have employees around the world and over 50,000 partners,” he said.
The language was identified as the main challenge in expanding business to Brazil. Furthermore, the marketing manager recognized the need to adapt to local specificities, including regionalization within the national territory.
“We enter a more regionalized market, such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, where major events take place,” he added.
Hiring Brazilian professionals was essential to understand the country’s culture and dynamics. “Hiring Brazilian professionals was the first step in breaking this barrier of being an alternative form of traffic, because the Brazilian market is very accustomed to traditional ones like Google Ads and Meta Ads,” he added.
