SOFTSWISS, an iGaming software provider celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2024, has been awarded the Tobique B2B gaming license, the first ever issued in the jurisdiction.

The Tobique Gaming Commission (TGC) and Differentia Licensing Advisory Group Limited (DLAG), a provider and facilitator for gaming companies for international gaming licenses, have authorized SOFTSWISS to engage in commercial activities for one year.

Located in western New Brunswick, Canada, the Tobique First Nation is a sovereign indigenous community that issues online gambling licenses through the TGC in accordance with the Tobique Gaming Act of 2023.

License obtained by SOFTSWISS covers real money betting

The license, recognized as the B2B Tobique Gaming License, offers companies the prospect of international operations, making it easier to establish a global presence.

The license covers several categories of real money betting, including sports, casino games and lottery. Its significant advantages include simplified application process, reasonable price and fast acquisition.

Yuri Sharapa, Director of National Projects at SOFTSWISS, comments: “Acquiring a new license is a notable achievement for us. It reflects our dedication to offering our customers a diverse range of options.

Therefore, we thank the Tobique Gaming Commission for their trust and rigorous standards. We are proud to announce that one of the companies under the SOFTSWISS brand has become the first company to obtain the Tobique iGaming B2B license.”

“The DLAG team is pleased to announce that the first Tobique license has been awarded. The licensee is under the tier 1 international brand, SOFTSWISS, in our industry. The company is recognized for its leading products and services. These are exciting times for the gaming world and for Tobique”, adds Graham Martin, president of DLAG.

Company has other international licenses

SOFTSWISS supplies products to multiple operators under three international licenses: MGA, CGA and Kahnawake.

In addition, SOFTSWISS has several national licenses and certifications, including the South African license, recently obtained through the acquisition of Turfsport. This is a leading South African betting software provider with 35 years of experience.

Furthermore, in 2023, as part of its strategy to enter regulated markets, the SOFTSWISS casino platform and SOFTSWISS Sportsbook obtained the GLI-19 and GLI-33 certifications respectively.
