Marcos joins a team that is already very qualified and that in recent years has worked in a prominent position in the field of services for bookmakers, iGaming and casinos.
The experienced Brazilian executive will also lead the actions of Eightroom Lab, the company’s new innovation hub focused on developing and improving products with regard to user experience.
Marcos Coura’s career
Marcos is one of the greatest technical experts in the area of Technology, Telecom, Internet and Online Gambling in Brazil.
His CV is widely respected and brings all the necessary support for the level of importance that this hiring represents.
Over the last 25 years he has been an important cog in the wheel that has helped important companies reach a level of success and evolution.
18 of them as Commercial and Operations Director at Bodog Latam and as Head of Acquisition and co-founder of betboo.com, a company now belonging to the portfolio of the British group Entain.
Far beyond the technical aspect, Marcos presents himself as a professional capable of understanding and working with the challenges imposed by the market, looking to the future and navigating between different areas of the company, seeking to live well within the Eightroom culture.
About this he comments: “I have a lot of respect for technical approaches and my way of thinking is very analytical, but the years of experience and the passion I have for the gambling sector have left me free to probe problems and more comfortable using intuition in the search of solutions”.

After a long period at Bodog, Marcos accepted Eightroom’s challenge for this area of Innovation. With his hiring, the company takes an important step towards being more prepared, competitive and set in a scenario that is already very positive for the brand in 2023.
After almost 20 years of excellent work in Affiliate Marketing, Eightroom launched Vpag this year, its complete payment solution aimed at the bookmaker, iGaming and casino market, a tool that offers two versions: Wallet, a digital wallet for use in online betting houses and casinos, and Flash, a gateway that processes payments in an integrated and direct way.
Coura arrives to give even more weight to a journey of innovation that has been extensively worked on so far this year. Regarding the current situation in the market, in which classic solutions often no longer generate the expected results, Marcos also left his point of view on the matter:
