LeoVegas signs agreement to acquire Push Gaming

LeoVegas, now a wholly owned subsidiary of the MGM brand, has signed an agreement with Push Gaming. The terms grant LeoVegas Resorts the right to acquire Push Gaming through the end of the current year. This is an interim measure; however, the business looks pretty solid. That is, both parties could very well conclude the partnership agreement on time.

After the acquisition, Push Gaming will continue to house 100 employees under the same management. There will be no changes in this department after LeoVegas Resorts acquires the company. Furthermore, Push Gaming will continue to develop and distribute on its own platform.

The part where the deal comes into play is that Push Gaming will support LeoVegas Resorts in its mission to expand its operations, especially in the iGaming space.

Push Gaming has agreed to support LeoVegas every step of the way through its proprietary technology, intellectual property and development experience. As of September 2022, MGM had acquired LeoVegas Resorts. Signing a partnership deal with Push Gaming makes it the first major partnership deal for the company since then.

Gary Fritz of MGM Resorts expressed satisfaction with the partnership, adding that the acquisition aligns with its efforts to extend the brand in the global betting market. Additionally, the president of MGM Resorts International Interactive stated that the acquisition will expand the company’s capabilities and product offerings over time.

Push Gaming has a successful track record when it comes to developing games. This is one factor in particular that made it a good choice for LeoVegas Resorts to partner with. The company is also known for its management and operation team.

Gustaf Hagman of LeoVegas said that they are excited to welcome Push Gaming into their ecosystem. The venture’s CEO appreciated the supplier’s management, which currently stands out having excellent proprietary content with a strong customer base.

LeoVegas wins two awards at the EGR Nordic Awards

The announcement of the new deal comes days after LeoVegas Resorts announced it won two awards at this year’s EGR Nordic Awards. The company received a silver award for winning in the Operator of the Year category and was also recognized as the Casino Operator of 2023.

The organization dedicated the awards to their team, saying that winning these awards was a testament to their hard work and dedication. This only adds positive points to the LeoVegas Casino review, where the brand also shines with exceptional customer support and other teams such as developers and designers.

LeoVegas Group is now set to acquire a majority stake in Push Gaming, a brand that distributes over 30 games to over 200 operators worldwide.
