Stake backs 'Her Game Too' campaign ahead of Merseyside derby (1)
Stake supports 'Her Game Too' campaign ahead of Merseyside derby.

Stake, Everton Football Club’s main sports betting partner, will donate their front space of the Everton women’s team warm-up shirts to allow ‘Her Game Too’ to place their logo there.

‘Her Game Too’ is a volunteer-led campaign that addresses online abuse of women in football. The Goodison Park Executive Box Stake will also be reserved for use by campaign guests during the game.

The action will take this opportunity to invite campaign representatives and ambassadors, as well as selected guests from the Everton Fan Forum. They will use the VIP experience to celebrate the work done for equality.

The Merseyside derby will be Everton’s first time hosting Liverpool at Goodison Park. Dominic Rae, Manager of Stake Sponsorships, said: “We are delighted to have worked with Everton to provide this space for ‘Her Game Too’.”

“The work they do is fundamental to everyone’s enjoyment of football and we hope this collaboration can bring further progress,” added Rae.

Shirts will be distributed among pre-selected football teams and other equality organisations. Several of the ‘Her Game Too’ logo shirts will also be auctioned off, with proceeds going to local charities.

Roopa Vyas, director of Her Game Too, said: “Everton’s support of ‘Her Game Too’ has been a shining example of how clubs can spread our message that ‘football is a game for EVERYONE’. It’s been totally authentic and we really appreciate the support from staff and players like Seamus and Gabby, and now Everton’s main partner, Stake.”
