SOFTSWISS, the industry leader in iGaming, complements the functionality of its Casino Platform by launching a new feature called Team Tournaments. It allows players to have more fun, encourages competition between players, and motivates player engagement.
This feature is an update to the Tournaments tool, which is available to all Casino Platform customers. The start of Team Tournaments expands opportunities for players to compete with each other.
It also increases the chances of winning due to the total contribution of multiple players in a team event, which distributes the result among the team members. So while one player loses, there is still a chance for the team to win the tournament or gain a victory through the performance of the other player in the group.
The mechanism for Team Tournaments is as follows: up to 10 teams are created in the casino and each team can have a certain number of players. They are allocated into groups based on operator-defined settings for uniform distribution.
Internal research by the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform team demonstrates that the new tournament type aims to increase player engagement and loyalty. Additionally, players who earn tournament rewards show more in-game activity and are willing to deposit more. Research shows that using tournaments increases casino metrics growth – deposit count grows by an average of 10-20% and sum of deposits increases by x2.
Casinos that use tournaments have shown increasing metrics and performance. This suggests that Team Tournaments will further improve results. More prizes will attract more players and increase user engagement in tournaments, directly affecting deposit amounts and other indicators.
