Playtech has signed an agreement with 888 Holdings that will see the 888casino brand introduce new content in several US states. From New Jersey, operator iGaming will host Playtech’s live casino and random number generator (RNG) products.
This deal forms part of both companies’ “strategic expansion into the US market”, with other jurisdictions to follow after 888casino launches content for players in the Garden State.
Howard Mittman, president of 888 US, believes that the companies’ expanded partnership and later 888casino’s expanded content offering will “improve the overall player experience.”
“We are pleased to expand our partnership with Playtech and offer their exclusive live casino content and RNG to 888casino US players,” he commented.
“This agreement will improve the overall player experience by offering more fun and dynamic games, which is a key part of our content and product leadership strategy,” added Mittman.
Playtech COO Shimon Akad was similarly excited about the deal, which he called an “exciting step” in the provider’s expansion into the North American market.
“I am thrilled that our trusted partners, 888, have chosen to bring our live casino games and RNG across multiple states, marking another exciting step in our expansion in the country,” said Akad.
“Live casino is Playtech’s newest proposition for the US market and is giving operators the opportunity to diversify their offering, resulting in high demand for our industry-leading software,” continued Shimon Akad.
Playtech secures agreement with Resorts Digital Gaming
The agreement was signed shortly after Playtech secured a partnership with Resorts Digital Gaming last week to provide live casino content, among other products and services.
