Polish football league PKO BP Ekstraklasa is strengthening its official data partnership with Stats Perform by gaining access to branded Opta data and analytics.
Data from technology company AI will be provided to improve fan engagement of Poland’s top football league, and will be collected and managed exclusively by Stats Perform’s operators and partner bookmakers.
This includes access to live feeds of each match, allowing their media departments to provide real-time information across broadcast and digital platforms.
“We are fully aware that today’s fans need professional data about their favorite games,” noted Marcin Animucki, President of Ekstraklasa SA. “They think about them between their team’s games as they analyze their rivals and evaluate transfers in real time.”
“We also fully understand the need of journalists who use our statistics. Therefore, we provide world-class tools to analyze and follow PKO BP Ekstraklasa games. This is an important part of our strategy to develop the championship in the digital area”, added Marcin. .
The league’s scope of use of Opta data is said to be “expanding significantly” during 2022-23 as it will be leveraging the league’s fan engagement tools such as its mobile app, website and the game LOTTO Fantasy Ekstraklasa.
