Spotlight Sports Group signs football content partnership with Sky Bet

Spotlight Sports Group (SSG) will build, host and manage a platform for the start of the new season for Sky Bet.

Delivered through SSG’s in-house technology, the platform is integrated with Sky Bet’s native website and app and will contain editorial content and data from Sky Bet’s annual fan expectation survey with YouGov. Alongside the main poll, fans can also give their opinion on the new season via a built-in mini-survey.

“This site truly demonstrates our industry-leading technology, our wealth of proprietary data and content creation capabilities. We are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK’s leading operators ahead of the new football season,” said SSG UK and Ireland Sales Head Daniel Smith.

“It’s a big year for the sport, including the World Cup in November, and our goal is to support our customers with technology and content while they can get creative with their marketing campaigns without compromising product roadmaps.”

Spotlight Sports Group project will cover English first and second divisions

Designed to engage customers ahead of the start of the new season in August, the platform will showcase the results of each Premier League and Championship team. SSG’s team of football experts will aim to enhance the user experience through in-depth team analysis as well as the best bets for the upcoming season.
