The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and member associations from across Oceania joined integrity experts from FIFA and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) this week for the opening of the latest edition of the Integrity Program. FIFA Global.

In line with FIFA’s overall vision of making football truly global and its ongoing commitment to protecting and promoting the integrity of the game, FIFA‘s Global Integrity Program, developed in collaboration with UNODC, aims to improve education and build integrity capability across all 211 member associations, sharing advanced knowledge and resources with integrity officers.

It also reflects UNODC’s aim to support governments and sport organizations in their efforts to protect sport from the corruption and crime that plague many regions of the world.

Involving integrity and anti-corruption experts from FIFA, UNODC, the OFC and other organizations, the opening session of the OFC member associations follows the integrity workshops held as part of FIFA’s Global Integrity Program, which has already brought together member associations from the AFC, CAF, CONMEBOL and Concacaf regions.

Designed to share knowledge and discuss best practices with integrity officers from across Oceania, the modules will take place on April 13th and 22nd and will focus on key topics including the establishment of an integrity initiative, reporting mechanisms, competition protection , media strategy, stakeholder cooperation, best practices and investigations.
