Reading FC e Casumo Group se unem para apoiar iniciativa ‘Rainbow Laces’

Reading Football Club will add more colors as part of a collaboration with its partner Casumo Group in support of the Rainbow Laces campaign.

In its upcoming home games, Reading will replace the traditionally white nets with rainbow colored ones, while its official partner, online casino company Casumo, will change its normal logo to a red heart.

Fans caught a glimpse of the new goals last season during the match against Nottingham Forest, which were brought back for the club’s last home game against Hull City on December 4th. The colored nets can be seen again when Reading FC Women face Chelsea on December 11th.

All of this is being done in support of Rainbow Laces, a pioneering initiative by the British charity LGBTQ + Stonewall to improve inclusion in sport.

Veljko Paunović, Reading coach, commented: “Football is a game – more than a game for so many: a way of life! And the spirit of football transcends the barriers that so often separate us.”

Paunović added: “Instead, the sport we all live and breathe embraces the differences in people and brings us together as a community. As a sport, it is here for everyone to enjoy, even in its own nature. And it has to remain open and accessible to everyone”.

Casumo Group sports marketing communications specialist Mark Strijbosch also expressed: “We are delighted to support Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces initiative for the second year and are proud to be part of the ongoing effort to raise awareness about the theme of inclusion in football”.
