Platincasino will pay £5,000 (US$7,000) to every single Simpsons episode. The UK site is looking for people to watch each episode of The Simpsons over an eight-week period as it seems to want to tap into the ‘precognitive powers’ of the beloved cartoon.

Matt Groening’s sitcom has been credited with predicting Donald Trump’s presidency, the coronavirus pandemic and, more recently, fuel shortages in Britain, so Platin wants to test how often things in the 32-year history of the program correspond to real world events.

But for those who want to apply, this will not be an easy activity, as the job will require a minimum of 35 and a half hours per week, and this is just the time needed to fit all 33 seasons of the program and the Spinoff movie into the tight schedule of Platin.

An activity that requires attention and a lot of work

During each episode, the ‘Simpsons Series Analyst’, as the company is calling it, will have to take notes on ‘highlighting storylines’ to provide feedback to his teams of forecasting experts.

Applicants will need to be over 18, fluent in English and possess strong writing skills, along with a TV or notebook; a Disney Plus subscription is not required as Platincasino will cover the cost of the streaming service and provide additional funds for any Wi-Fi charges during the period.

If these bonuses aren’t tempting enough, the casino will also send out a box of donuts every week so candidates can even eat like Homer Simpson while watching the animated series.
