SOFTSWISS received a betting and casino license for Serbia, which expands the brand’s presence in the local regulated markets. The license was issued by the Games of Chance Administration (GCA) of the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
Received in August, this was the third license obtained by the company in the year. In early 2021, the brand officially entered the Nigerian and Greek markets. The authorization grants the possibility to operate in Serbia for ten years.
The software platform has been certified by a competent laboratory as a prerequisite for obtaining documentation. SOFTSWISS is Serbia’s first company licensed to operate exclusively online.
Thanks to the authorization, the SOFTSWISS team plans to soon announce the first iGaming brand in the country with a partner company. The project, which is still under development, will integrate local payment methods as well as a monitoring and information exchange system with the Games of Chance Administration.
