Entain will double investment in its game studios

Entain plans to increase investment in its game studios to “accelerate and expand its ability to provide customers with new products.” The operator says that at its three studios in the UK, Italy and India, the number of employees will double to around 300 people.

The increase in employees will allow Entain to deliver unique experiences in all of its markets, such as the United States. The company’s UK studio, CR Games, will create eight new roles, bringing the total number of contributors to nearly 50.

New content will include free slots tournaments, allowing customers to play free games and win cash prizes. Following the recent partnership with the McLaren and PartyPoker / PartyCasino brands, players will also have exclusive access to Formula 1 themed casino games and content later this year.

Entain studios will also adapt their best-selling content to international markets. Win Studios tweaked Entain’s flagship bingo product to create a sports-themed gaming experience for Sportingbet branded players.

Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CEO of Entain, said: “We love to provide our customers with great experiences and exciting entertainment, as this is the foundation of what we do. Increasing our investment in all three game studios will provide more of that to our customers across our global brands.”

He concluded: “By expanding our offering with new and exclusive games such as free tournaments, we give new and existing customers more reasons to use our products. This not only helps to expand our business, but also brings new insights so that we can further improve the offering for our customers.”
