Play For a Cause, Binance and Maracanã presented the “NFT Rede do Maracanã 70+”, an unprecedented movement with digital assets and part of the celebration of the anniversary of the temple of Brazilian and world football.

Thus, the most important goals of the stadium are immortalized in the products, as well as a trophy with a memory of the net used in the goalposts. Approximately half of the net amount obtained will be transferred to projects in the area of ​​education aimed at children and adolescents from 40 partner entities of the project.

Goals chosen for the NFT action Rede do Maracanã 70+

Seven memorable goals scored at Maracanã were chosen and became exclusive art: the thousandth goal by King Pelé, the last goal scored by Zico professionally, the penalty converted by Neymar in winning the unprecedented gold at Rio 2016, Romário dribbling the Uruguayan goalkeeper to sacrament Brazil’s classification for the 94 World Cup, Renato Gaúcho’s belly goal in 1995, Gotze’s kick in the 2014 World Cup decision, and Alcides Ghiggia’s goal silenced the entire stadium at the 1950 Maracanazo.

The partnership with Play For a Cause, in addition to providing the largest initiative of digital assets ever created in the country, will have part of its net revenue destined to the social”, declared the CEO of the stadium, Severiano Braga.

Ricardo Da Ros, director of Binance in the national market, stated that “it is a real goal to have this Maracanã collection on the Binance NFT Marketplace. They are rare jewels of history, which football lovers will be able to perpetuate in the form of NFT, of technological innovation, and still help others”.

Digital assets can be purchased on Binance’s marketplace

According to MKT Esportivo, the “NFT Rede do Maracanã 70+” has 100 units and is already available, in a reservation system, on the marketplace of Binance, one of the largest crypto-active brokers on the planet. The first product will be at the Maracanã Museum, while those interested can buy a product similar to the one in the collection.
