Stats-Perform-announces-partnership-with-the-Moldova-Football-Association

The Moldovan Football Association announced that for the past few months it has been working with Stats Perform to combat “fixed” matches and football corruption.

The parties have been working together as part of a two-year agreement covering all games in Moldova’s first division, the “Divizia Națională”.

Earlier this year, Stats Perform said it was improving the monitoring and detection of suspicious activity in sport with its Performance Health Analysis.

More recently, the company became the exclusive and official partner of WTA tennis, becoming the competition’s data provider.

A partnership to make a difference

The head of the FMF’s Integrity Department, Eugen Zubic, said: “Football is the most loved and played game in the world and our mission is to protect this sport from any threat.”

“That is why it is crucial for FMF to use the services of Stats Perform, one of the largest international companies specializing in betting and performance analysis, in the form of reports that are sorely needed in the disciplinary investigation phase of matches with “fixed results” “”.

“Only together, the entire football community can stop corruption in football, informing, raising awareness and condemning the fixation of games”, concludes Zubic.

Jake Marsh, Global Head of Integrity at Stats Perform, added: “We are delighted that FMF has chosen Stats Perform’s unique integration of betting market monitoring, intelligence and ‘opta-powered’ performance analysis to support its integrity”.

“This agreement shows the importance the FMF places on ensuring the integrity of its competitions, and we look forward to working with them in a successful partnership,” concludes Marsh.
