Kindred Group operator Unibet launched BetShare, a tool that allows customers to change the look of their bets and share them on social media.
The social media focused betting tool is designed to “create a sense of community” and is only available to Unibet customers.
The tool will be launched in most Unibet markets before the European Championships; partners in these markets will be free to locate the tool “as they see fit”.
BetShare will allow customers to access four personalization features, which include backgrounds, emojis, text and paint. Unibet users can now access the tool and the brand says there are already plans to improve its accessibility.
A tool that came to innovate
Kindred Group Product Director Erik Bäcklund said: “Unibet is the first major sportsbook brand to bring such a sharing tool to the market. The advantage of our players becoming content creators has become a theme of fascinating discussion on Kindred”.

Kindred has placed enormous emphasis on its responsible gaming practices of late. It will be interesting to see how game critics react to this latest innovation.
