DraftKings will open the door to your branded sports betting at Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado. The launch of the DraftKings Sportsbook at Mardi Gras Casino follows a deal initially negotiated in July, which saw a temporary sports betting site become accessible.

Retail sports betting at Twin River will be equipped with more than 40 televisions, large video panels that will be dedicated to displaying odds, several self-service betting kiosks and a full-service American bar and restaurant.

“DraftKings’ new sports betting site is the perfect complement to the mobile betting access we launched earlier this summer,” commented George Papanier, President and CEO of Twin River Worldwide Holdings.

“The space has over 40 large TVs and multiple odds boards, a large full-service bar with 22 seats, a VIP area and a great new menu with American pub dishes with a Colorado twist, including our famous short rib stacker with homemade French fries, a handmade BLT with poached egg and carnitas tacos. There is nothing like that at Black Hawk and we look forward to becoming Colorado’s new home for all sports. ”

DraftKings will also become the first ‘official sports betting operator’ and ‘official daily fantasy operator’ of the Colorado Rockies. This agreement will give DraftKings the brand rights at the stadium.

In addition, DraftKings will also receive a license to use Rockies trademarks and logos, with the duo also set to collaborate to develop a series of digital content featuring Rockies’ appearances, along with podcasts, live videos and much more. more.

“We are proud to increase our presence in Colorado by announcing our latest deal with the Rocky Mountains and also look forward to officially opening the doors to our newest retail sportsbook at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort soon,” explained Matt Kalish, co-founder and president from DraftKings North America.

“In the short space of time since the launch of our high-ranking mobile sports betting app in Colorado last May, coloradans have proven to be among our most engaged customers, which makes our connection to the state deeper through these collaborations yet more exciting.”

“All of us at Colorado Rockies are excited to take this exciting next step in our longstanding relationship with DraftKings,” noted Walker Monfort, vice president of corporate partnerships for Rockies.

“Expanding our current business to daily fantasy sports will only improve what we’ve built with DraftKings so far. Associating our brand with one of the first industry leaders in the new frontier of legal sports betting will be a great new effort for both parties. ”
