Sportradar will monitor the integrity of all matches in the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After signing an agreement with the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI).
The data provider’s Integrity services will support the anti-corruption unit of the cricket regulator in the country, monitoring and protecting the games in order to detect irregularities in bets.
Therefore, the agreement will also cause Sportradar to provide BCCI with a risk assessment based on intelligence information.
Sportradar’s Director of Integrity Services, Andreas Krannich, said: “As a global leader in sports integrity, we look forward to providing our expertise and helping to protect the tournament against integrity-related issues.”
Krannich added: “We know that BCCI takes integrity seriously. And, we look forward to working with them throughout the tournament and offering our support for their program ”.
The Twenty20 a cricket league will begin its new season on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates, after it was initially scheduled for March.

The championship has had problems with unusual betting patterns in the past, with three Indian cricketers banned for several years in 2013 as a result of match-fixing.
