Betsson Signs Streaming Contract with Betgenius

Betsson expanded its content offering by entering into a live streaming partnership with Betgenius.

Under the agreement, Betgenius will provide the operator with live broadcasts of thousands of sports games, as well as information for each event with official data.

Betgenius’ streaming service will allow Betsson to offer live content 24 hours a day with a wide variety of sports, including football, basketball, tennis and volleyball.

Thus, increasing the player’s retention during events that occur outside of peak hours.

The supplier holds the official data rights for all devices included in its streaming portfolio. In addition, Bet365 was one of the first operators to put the service live in October of last year.

Betsson’s commercial director, Richard Scott, said: “We are constantly striving to provide the best product and experience possible for our customers.”

Scott added: “The addition of Betgenius’ live displays to a series of sporting events is a great way to complement official data-based values.”

Eric Stevens, director of global sales for Genius Sports, has also officially commented on the deal. “We are excited to expand our partnership with Betsson and further enhance its international sports betting offering.”

In July, Betsson saw its second quarter revenue increase by 20% over the previous year, reaching SEK 1.53 billion (about US $ 175 million).
