Sportradar Appoints Chuck Robel to the Board of Directors

Sportradar announced the appointment of Chuck Robel to its board of directors as chairman of the audit committee.

Robel started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked for 26 years. He also spent five years as a general partner and chief operating officer for Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, where he managed a £ 1 billion investment portfolio.

The sector executive is currently chairman of GoDaddy, a service platform for entrepreneurs. Prior to that, he was the principal director of AppDynamics.

Throughout his career, Robel has worked for a long list of technology and data companies, including Sumo Logic, McAfee, Informatica Palo Alto Networks and DemandTec, among others.

In his new role at Sportradar, Robel will oversee the company’s financial reporting and internal controls, risks and ethical compliance.
