The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has begun and Sportradar’s technological simulations reveal interesting projections. The company used artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze possible scenarios for the tournament.
Real Madrid are the main favorites for the title with a 17.4% chance of victory. This analysis is the result of 50,000 simulations carried out using the company’s proprietary algorithm.
The Spanish club outperforms Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in the probabilistic model’s projections.
The methodology combines historical match data with global betting information. In addition, Sportradar collects data from over 800 partner bookmakers in its network.
Mbappé is the favorite to be the FIFA Club World Cup top scorer
The simulations also point to Kylian Mbappé as the main candidate for the Golden Boot. The Real Madrid forward leads the ranking of top scorers in 11.4% of the simulations carried out. Right after, Erling Haaland from Manchester City appears with a 9.7% probability.
Harry Kane of FC Bayern München scores 7.8% in the projections, while Ousmane Dembélé of Paris Saint-Germain scores 6.1% in the computer analysis.
Single data-driven projection
This simulation represents a unique projection based on current data and tournament parameters. It therefore demonstrates how artificial intelligence can anticipate outcomes and enrich the understanding of global competitions.
Sportradar partnership expands tournament coverage
Sportradar has announced a partnership to distribute data and content from all 63 matches of the tournament. As a result, the company will provide live odds to its network of over 800 betting operators. In addition, 900 media companies will receive this content.
