The first special Loterias Caixa contest of 2025, the Easter Double, began betting this Monday (17). According to the bank, the prize for contest number 2797 is estimated at R$30 million.
The draw will take place on April 19, the Saturday before Easter Sunday. Bets can be made at lottery outlets across the country, on the Loterias da Caixa portal and the Loterias Caixa app.
As with other special Loterias Caixa draws, the Easter Double does not accumulate. In the first draw, if there are no winners in the main bracket (6 correct numbers), the prize will be divided among those who win the quina (5 correct numbers) and so on, according to the rules of the modality.
In addition, it is worth remembering that the main prize of the special competition only occurs in the first draw of the Easter Double.
If just one bettor takes home the R$30 million prize and invests it in Caixa Savings, they will receive a return of approximately R$162 thousand in the first month.
This is the ninth edition of the special Dupla Sena contest. According to the bank, the biggest prize in this category was the 2024 Easter Dupla. On that occasion, two bets shared the total of R$37.5 million.
How Dupla Sena works
With just one Dupla Sena ticket, the bettor participates in two draws per contest and wins by matching three, four, five or six numbers in the first or second draw.
Playing is simple, just choose 6 to 15 numbers from the 50 available on the ticket. You can also bet with Surpresinha, an option in which the system chooses the numbers for the bettor.

On the Loterias Caixa portal or the Loterias Caixa App, bettors must be over 18 years old and register. The customer then chooses their bets, adds them to the cart and pays for all their bets at once.
Double Sena Pool
To make a Dupla Sena lottery, bettors can buy shares in lottery pools organized by lottery shops, where an additional service fee of up to 35% of the share value may be charged. In addition, shares can also be purchased on the Loterias Caixa portal or through the Loterias Caixa App.
In Dupla Sena, the minimum price for pools is R$10. However, each share cannot be less than R$2.50. Therefore, it is possible to create a pool with a minimum of two and a maximum of 50 shares. In the case of a pool with more than one bet, all of them must contain the same number of prediction numbers.
