Lottery operator Allwyn was announced today as an official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team, and McLaren F1 Academy.
The multinational lottery operator, with brands in seven markets in Europe and the United States, teams up with McLaren to achieve global recognition. In other words, the objective is to strengthen its connection with fans and further develop brand recognition through motorsport.
Allwyn also joined Formula 1
The partnership is part of Allwyn’s strategy to promote responsible gaming through targeted campaigns and provides even more support for the brand. Additionally, the company recently announced a partnership with Formula 1.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, said: “We are delighted to welcome Allwyn to the McLaren Racing family. After a fantastic 2024 season, it’s great to have an international brand like Allwyn joining us at a time when the team – and the sport – are going from strength to strength.”
Karel Komarek, founder of Allwyn, said: “This exciting partnership – alongside the cooperation we announced earlier this week with F1 – is a huge step forward in Allwyn’s journey to expand its business and brand globally.”
“Our collaboration with McLaren benefits from a shared drive to thrive, powered by technology and with innovation at its heart; characteristics that will continue to drive Allwyn’s global development”, he added.
Robert Chvátal, CEO of Allwyn, also spoke about the new international agreement. “McLaren is an iconic name in Formula 1, with enormous international appeal. It is one of the most successful racing teams in the world.”
“We are proud that wherever Allwyn operates, we create safe and responsible ways for people to play. We know that McLaren, like the world of Formula 1, also prioritizes safety and responsibility,” continued Chvátal.
Allwyn will appear in several McLaren Racing properties
The Allwyn brand will be present on several of the team’s assets, including the racing cars and racing suits of drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as well as touchpoints at the McLaren Shadow F1 Sim Racing Team and the McLaren F1 Academy.
