The winner of the Mega-Sena prize, who alone won more than R$201 million in the November draw, passed away this Wednesday (4) at a dental clinic in Cuiabá, possibly due to a sudden illness.

Antonio, a 73-year-old cattle rancher, worked with the purchase and sale of cattle in Mato Grosso. He leaves four children.

The Civil Police chief, Edison Pick, informed the g1 portal that he is collecting information at the clinic to determine the exact cause of death.

“If what happened was a sudden illness, the clinic is not to blame. We need to wait for the necropsy exam and the report to clarify the facts”, he highlighted.

Antonio Lopes was the winner of Mega-Sena draw 2,795, on November 9, held in São Paulo. Thus, he matched the six numbers drawn through a simple bet of R$5, withdrawing the prize on November 11th.
