Caixa Econômica Federal confirmed the redemption of the millionaire Mega-Sena prize by a bettor from Timbaúba, Pernambuco. The lucky person went to the institution on Wednesday (18), to claim the amount of R$ 81,473,638.46, the result of competition 2775.
The bank maintained discretion over the winner’s details, preserving their identity and personal information.
The winner placed the winning bet, a simple game of six numbers, in Loteria da Praça. This establishment is now part of the city’s history.
The dozens drawn that changed the bettor’s life were: 01, 04, 14, 26, 44 and 51. This result not only created a new millionaire in the country, but also benefited other players.
The corner awarded 80 bets, each receiving R$53,212.48. Additionally, 5,817 bettors hit the field, guaranteeing an individual prize of R$1,045.45.
The Mega-Sena contest continues to attract the attention of Brazilians. This is because the next draw, scheduled for Thursday (19), promises a prize estimated at R$3.5 million for the main track.
This amount, although smaller than the last prize, still represents a significant amount capable of transforming the life of the next winner.
How to play Mega-Sena
Mega-Sena offers the chance to win millions by matching six numbers. Furthermore, it is possible to receive smaller prizes with four or five hits. Bettors can choose 6 to 20 numbers from the 60 available on the wheel.
To participate, there are options such as Surpresinha, where the system selects the numbers, and Teimosinha, which allows you to compete with the same bet in multiple draws. The draws take place three times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The minimum bet costs R$5.00 and includes six numbers. However, the more numbers marked, the higher the price and the chances of winning. If there are no winners, the prize rolls over to the next contest.
Remember: winners have 90 days to claim their prizes. FIES receives the unclaimed amount after this period.
Thus, winners can redeem their prizes at lottery outlets or Caixa agencies. For amounts above R$2,259.20, payment is made exclusively at branches, upon presentation of documents.
