United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports (ULIS) is pleased to announce that Caixa Loterias is joining our association as an individual member following approval by the ULIS Executive Committee.

Therefore, this new partnership highlights the shared commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in the newly regulated Brazilian betting market.

Caixa Loterias raises its quality standards with the partnership

Founded in 1861, CAIXA has played a fundamental role in the development of Brazil. The recent transfer of the Federal Lotteries business to CAIXA Loterias in April 2024 marks a significant focus on the modernization and diversification of Brazil’s lottery and betting market.

Therefore, as a member of ULIS, CAIXA Loterias aims to create a safe and honest environment for local consumers. Furthermore, it is permanently committed to maintaining international standards of sporting integrity.

Lucíola Vasconcelos, president of CAIXA Loterias, reinforced the relevance of the new association: “This partnership with ULIS is an important milestone. It reinforces our pursuit of the highest standards of integrity in our operations. Therefore, we look forward to working closely with ULIS and its members. We want to promote a safe and equitable environment for sports fans around the world.”

Notably, 48% of Federal Lottery revenue is directed to legally stipulated beneficiaries.

Gilles Maillet, president of ULIS, highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership: “Caixa Loterias is one of the main participants in the lottery market in Latin America. Their strong commitment to responsible gaming and policy integrity is vital to increasing transparency and ethical practices in the global sports community.”

Thus, Caixa joins an important network of sports betting operators that share the same values. Their common resources and experience should contribute significantly to global efforts in the field of sports integrity. All of this with the aim of creating a more transparent and fair sporting environment.
