Lottopar, the agency responsible for regulating the lottery market in Paraná, defined a rigorous set of requirements to guarantee the safety and integrity of sports and lottery betting in the state.
To authorize any betting operation, it is necessary to comply with the rules of the notice. Among these standards, the need to present tests and certifications carried out by internationally renowned laboratories, experts in games and lotteries, stands out.
These laboratories already operate in countries such as the United States, Spain, England and Portugal, and now play a crucial role in the safety of operations in Paraná.
Before being released for sale, all games and bets undergo a series of specific tests. Only after confirming that all items comply with the strictest international standards, do the games receive the appropriate certification.
Accreditation of laboratories at Lottopar
To accredit these laboratories with operators in Paraná, Lottopar prepared a detailed analysis of more than 130 compliance items.
Among these items are RNG (Random Number Generator) tests, analysis of algorithms, intervals, cycles, pay tables, game information, source code analysis, systems and cryptographic security, among other crucial aspects for transparency and the fairness of games.
Lottopar’s Director of Operations, Fabio Veiga, highlighted the importance of these measures to protect bettors and guarantee safe entertainment.
“We are ensuring that games and betting regulated in Paraná are fair and safe and do not deceive the bettor. We want to offer safe entertainment for those who bet and with social return for the entire population.”
“For this reason, I even want to issue a warning: when betting, bet as entertainment and not as a means of simple earnings and always look for an authorized operator”, highlighted Veiga.
