Last May, Lottopar received an invitation from the Ibero-American Lottery and Betting Corporation (Cibelae). The invitation was to join the Technology Commission, thus assuming a crucial role in representing Paraná in this scenario.
This achievement guarantees the municipality a prominent position in the region. Furthermore, it opens doors for a valuable exchange of knowledge and information in the field of information technology between the main lotteries in Latin America.
The monthly meetings of this commission are designed with the clear objective of facilitating the exchange of experiences between participants, covering a range of crucial topics, such as cryptography, blockchain, data security and cybercrime prevention.
Additionally, the focus on practices that promote responsible gaming and combat money laundering reflects the joint commitment to continually improving security standards to ensure a safe and trustworthy gaming experience for users.
Jonathan Camargo, Lottopar advisor and active member of the Cibelae Technology Committee, emphasized the importance of this opportunity.
“This is a chance not only to highlight the advances already made by Paraná in terms of gaming safety, but also to adopt international best practices and implement them in our region.”
Lottopar suspended accreditation for the Fixed Odds Betting lottery modality
It is worth remembering that on the 20th, Lottopar’s Special Accreditation Committee suspended the accreditation period referring to Notice nº 001/2023.
The communication of this suspension was necessary, since on May 15th the opening of the new accreditation period was published. According to the entity, the reopening of the new accreditation period will be informed as soon as the adjustments are made.
“The suspension of this notice does not cause any harm to potential interested parties, as well as to the Public Administration”, stated in the official Lottopar community.
