International Game Technology (IGT) subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation has signed a new agreement with the Texas Lottery Commission. Awarded following a competitive acquisition, the 10-year scratch card printing and services agreement will extend IGT’s partnership with Texas Lottery through August 2034.
Along with scratch ticket printing, the company will provide the lottery with lottery operations and services, including its central betting systems, data center operations, field sales organization, retail and support equipment, warehouse and distribution, calls and marketing services.
“For 30 years, IGT has worked closely with the Texas Lottery to deliver some of our most innovative products such as the Super Ticket, in-lane solutions and the mobile app’s scan-and-check feature,” said COO of IGT, Jay Gendron.
“These industry-leading lottery products and operational support services offer a multitude of benefits to players and retailers across the state. We look forward to building on our long-standing partnership by supporting veteran educational and service organizations in Texas,” added Gendron.
IGT is currently the leading technology provider for eight of the top 10 lotteries in the world, with over 40 long-term scratch card ticket service contracts worldwide.
Gary Grief, Executive Director of the Texas Lottery Commission, commented, “Since our inception in 1992, IGT has been a valued partner and has helped the Texas Lottery generate over $35 billion in revenue for good causes. IGT will continue to offer innovative and fun scratch off tickets for years to come.”
Earlier this week, the provider partnered with operator Station Casinos to implement its Resort Wallet and IGTPay cashless game modules.
