Otavio Cunha was dismissed from the position, which is now performed by lawyer Hazenclever Lopes Cançado. The decision came from the state governor, Cláudio Castro, during a bidding process where Loterj plans to launch new products online.
The new president is a partner in a law firm located in Brasília (DF). Cançado holds a law degree from the University of Brasília and a master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the University of São Paulo, according to Canal MyNews.
Loterj intends to launch new products and invest in sports betting
Loterj is committed to launching new online games from a bidding process, which is already taking place. Among the possibilities evaluated are instant and prediction games. In addition, the lottery is already structuring itself to work with sports betting after the event that would take the games to Rio de Janeiro.
