The Brazilian Skate Confederation (CBSk) delivered a total of 300 kits including helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards for 30 projects supported by the Skate Social Loterias Caixa program. Each of the organizations won ten kits to expand their sports activities.
According to Máquina do Esporte, the investment was obtained from the sponsorship of Caixa Loterias. And, according to the entity, in addition to kits with protective items for the practice of the sport, each of the 30 projects also received 20 vests and 4 ramp stickers. Another phase of this action should result in the acquisition and transfer of skateboards to the initiatives.
“This is a demand that CBSk detected with the projects in the very first dialogues, when we started the mapping work. We are very happy that the sponsorship of Caixa Loterias is making this support possible. These equipments are very important for the projects to be able to conduct classes in a safe way for children”, said Eduardo Musa, president of CBSk.
Due to the sponsorship of Loterias Caixa, the Brazilian Skate Confederation has already managed to send a first shipment of kits for the projects. Each of the institutions benefited from 200 disposable masks, five liters of gel alcohol and two banners that highlight the place as a project recognized by the confederation.
With the intention of covering as many Brazilian regions as possible, the selection of the 30 projects, which took place in October of the last year, took into account the evidence of lack of equipment and the constant holding of classes.
Between December and January, in yet another action to bring the projects closer, the Skate Social Loterias Caixa program sent vegetable seeds to all registered initiatives.
Partnership between Caixa Lotteries and CBSk
In July 2021, the confederation signed a sponsorship contract with Loterias Caixa valid for one year. The agreement includes an agreement with federations and associated associations, as well as tournaments for all categories.
The agreement signed with Loterias Caixa went down in history for being the largest skate sponsorship in the country. According to Caixa, the sponsorship will transfer R$ 6.43 million to the entity until the end of the partnership.
