Maranhão Partnerships (MAPA) announced the opening of the accreditation notice for the Lottery of the State of Maranhão, LOTEMA. Players interested in accreditation need to send the qualification documentation by November 29, 2021, when the two-month period for publication of the Notice in the Official Gazette of the State of Maranhão expires.
According to MAPA, the accreditation system for multiple operators emerges as more appropriate to the company’s intentions, since this model assumes the plurality of interested candidates and the indeterminacy of the exact number of providers sufficient for the adequate offer of service, so that the more groups that come forward to achieve the objective, the better the public interest will be served.
“All companies that meet the requirements set out in the Notice will be accredited. There is no limit on the number of participants and the accredited companies will have the concession for a period of 20 years, considering the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the State of Maranhão”, declared the president of MAPA, Antonio Nunes.
Nunes added: “It is also important to emphasize that every 5 years, we will be able to open a new period for accreditation, which will give the opportunity for new companies interested in exploring LOTEMA”.
Modalities
Interested companies that receive the concession will have the opportunity to explore all allowed lottery services, both in physical channels and in virtual media.
The list of authorized modalities for LOTEMA includes the State Numbered Lottery (passive species), Numerical Prediction Lottery, Specific Prediction Lottery, Sports Prediction Lottery, Instant Lottery and Fixed Quota Betting Lottery.
