National Lottery operator Camelot has announced that it will fund security protocols against Covid-19 to help protect British athletes at the Tokyo Olympics. According to the contract, Camelot will become an official partner of the Olympic and Paralympic delegations.

Camelot’s support will ensure that British Olympic and Paralympic athletes are kept safe during the match. The Olympic team will benefit from resources for hygiene and testing programs, while members of the Paralympic teams will receive help with testing and safe transportation.

Camelot CEO Nigel Railton said: “We are delighted to support our Olympic and Paralympic athletes during an extraordinary period across the UK. Throughout the pandemic, the safety and well-being of our employees has been our priority “.

The company will also start to carry out a program called ‘Daily well-being’, which will take care of the health of its employees. Railton believes that, while collaborating with athletes, the operator also gives its employees an “opportunity to be at their best every day”.

And, this partnership with Camelot will help us to offer exceptional preparation and game environments to enable our athletes to achieve their goals in these games ”.
