The results of the National Lottery in the United Kingdom, drawn in November 2025, revealed the numbers 17, 18, 31, 36, 39 and 51, with Bonus Ball 29. Even so, the prize of approximately R$ 5.8 million remains unclaimed, as the winner has not yet come forward.
The organization reports that the winning ticket was purchased in South Gloucestershire, in southwest England. The winner has until April 30th to claim the prize.
Where is the winner of the million-dollar prize?
The operator Allwyn has launched a campaign to locate the winner. The company recommends that players check tickets kept in unusual places.
Allwyn’s senior winners consultant, Andy Carter, made a direct appeal to bettors: “We are asking players who may have purchased a ticket in South Gloucestershire for the Lotto draw on Saturday, November 1st last year, to check their tickets.”
Although the purchase took place in the indicated region, the company considers the possibility that the winner lives elsewhere. Therefore, the alert has been given wider reach.
Andy Carter also highlighted the importance of finding the winner: “It’s our mission to find the missing millionaire and deliver the prize to the lucky winner. Imagine how this six-figure win could change their life.”
How the lottery works and where the prize money goes
The National Lottery has operated since 1994 under regulation by the Gambling Commission, and part of the proceeds funds social, cultural, and sporting projects in the United Kingdom.
Million-dollar prize in the Brazilian lottery
While the case in the United Kingdom draws attention to unclaimed prizes, the Brazilian scenario also registers high values in lotteries. In the last Caixa Econômica Federal draw, the Mega-Sena had no winners in the main prize category.
The numbers drawn in contest 2995 were 08, 29, 42, 49, 50 and 58. Despite this, 54 bets matched five numbers and won R$ 42,308.07 each. Another 2,889 bets matched four numbers, with an individual prize of R$ 1,303.52.
With this, the main prize accumulated and reached R$ 45 million for contest 2996, which will be drawn this Tuesday (14). The draw takes place at 9 pm, at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo, with live broadcast on official channels.
Bets are available until 8 PM, both at lottery outlets and online. A simple game, with six numbers, costs R$ 6.
Finally, in terms of probability, hitting the five-number combination with a simple bet has a chance of 1 in 154,518. The main prize, however, requires the exact combination of all six numbers, which significantly increases the level of difficulty.
