Representatives from certification laboratories, the Secretariat of Bets and Prizes (SPA) and the Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro) met in Brasília (DF) this Monday (2).
The objective was to present everyone involved and the necessary mechanisms based on the Betting Management System (SIGAP) to continue the process of regulating the sports betting and online gaming sector in Brazil.
From January 1, 2025, only companies licensed by the Ministry of Finance will be able to continue operating in the country and promoting their services.
The Prizes and Betting Secretary, Regis Dudena, attended the meeting alongside other members of his team, Fábio Macorin and Carolina Yumi de Souza. While Ariadne Fonseca and Clony Nunes Abreu Jr. were the representatives of Serpro.
Lists of betting certifiers present
During the presentation of BMM Test Labs to those present, Juliano Prestes committed to helping to improve the Brazilian market. “The Brazilian Government can count on BMM as an ally in the process of improving the betting industry”, stated Prestes.
Thus, the company was represented in person by doctors Juliano Prestes, Witoldo Hendrich Júnior and Luciana Hendrich (remotely).
Furthermore, the list of certifiers included:
- GLI (Gaming Laboratories International) represented by Walter Delfraro and George Didier Flores,
- Gaming Europe (represented remotely),
- Quinel represented by Rafael Biasi,
- ECogra represented by Bradley Khoury and Udo Seckelmann.
